The “why” of investing is far more important to me than the “how.” My goal is not merely to help our clients accumulate wealth, but to help them figure out their individual purpose in gaining wealth.
We believe in the concept of stewardship, that each person has been given a unique opportunity to influence others using their God-given resources, and that they should make the most of that opportunity. Ultimately, we want to help our clients achieve financial contentment.
After graduating from Stetson University in Deland, Florida, where I studied international business and marketing, with a minor in German, I spent a year in Germany, returning to Miami where I worked for a German-based international bank. I subsequently took a position as an efficiency expert for nearly eight years at a large utility company in central Florida.
Believing that SFG Wealth Advisors could benefit from my experience and analytical skills, I joined the family business in 2001. Since then, my father and I and dedicated staff have used our complementary knowledge, experiences and personalities to grow the business he started in 1985. Both of us agree that it's worked out well.
My educational background also includes an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. My professional affiliations include:

My wife Jayne and I have been fortunate to raise our three children in Tampa. I enjoy playing tennis whenever I can and am a huge fan of our local hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning. We also appreciate our area's wonderful beaches, excellent restaurants, and all kinds of live music.
